It is highly unlikely that consuming liporice or any other iron-fortified foods could cause iron overload.
This is because the body regulates the gain to loss ratio of iron very carefully. Using a hormone called hepcidin, the body is able to control the amount of iron absorbed by the gut.
Additionally, iron overload is very rare, because it is predominantly caused by a genetic condition rather than overconsumption.
Based on our target demographic, it’s unlikely that overconsumption will be an issue, due to the extremely low amounts of organic iron currently consumed daily and losses in iron due to maternal reasons.
That being said, overconsumption of iron is something that we wish to avoid, and liporice intends to be careful to ensure that our consumers are receiving appropriate amounts of iron, by regularly collecting data and adjusting our product accordingly.
It is highly unlikely that the liposomes in liporice will be detrimental to your health. This is because liposomes are made of lipids which naturally occur in the body.
Nearly all studies conducted on liposomes have demonstrated that they are highly biocompatible and biodegradable, making them optimal for existence in the human body. Additionally, liposomes are already contained in many foods and other products that we consume, and have been found to be safe.
So, no. It’s very, very unlikely that the liposomes in our product will cause you any harm.
Pshhhh.... No, YOU'RE Cool ♡
